Originally from Wales, Symone has loved fashion and clothing as far back as she can recall. Music is her second passion, she has a diploma in Drum Music Performance, and film is her third.
She ran an independent retail fashion boutique 'Ninja Kitten' in Bristol city centre...during which she was awarded a Shell Livewire 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' award for business planning, which addressed sustainable and environmental issues within commercial retail practice.
After studying OCN Pattern Cutting and Garment Construction at evening classes she was accepted onto a BA (hons) Fashion/Textile Design course. Whilst working at Los Angeles based company The Original Cult she designed and put into production a Spring 2010 range for their ‘Lip Service’ clothing label, which retailed globally.
In 2011, during a University gap year, she worked as Assistant Buyer and Designer for Blue Banana. And in 2012 she graduated from her studies with a BA (Hons) Fashion/Textile Design.
